A Fairfield summer tradition is making a highly anticipated comeback. This August, the Jennings Beach Open Volleyball Tournament returns to the shores of Long Island Sound for the first time since its original two-year run in the early 1990s.

About the event
Tournament Details:
Format: Coed 4-player teams (Each team must have at least one female player at all times).
Structure: 12–14 teams competing in pool play, with the top two teams from each pool moving on to the semifinals.
Prizes: The winning team will receive a cash prize of $500 and have their names engraved on the Jennings Beach Volleyball Poles. Medals will be awarded to top three teams with additional awards presented for the Best Team Costume/Uniform.
The tournament will run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM across two courts. Registration is $160 per team ($40 per player) and includes an official tournament T-shirt.
Like previous Jennings Beach Opens the tournament will feature courtside banners, music, and spectator games to give the event a professional tournament atmosphere that celebrates the Fairfield lifestyle.
