NetTeller User Guide

Signing on to NetTeller

  • Go to Lake Sunapee Bank’s website, www.lakesunbank.com
  • Enter NetTeller ID
  • Enter NetTeller PIN
  • Click “Login”

When you first log into Lakesunbank Online, you will be prompted to change your PIN # to a new 6 to 8 character alphanumeric code. This is for your personal security and protection.

Home Page Review

Account Listing
Displays your account status on the home page. Arrow down to view account information.
Click on the “Account Activities Options” drop down menu for the following options:

  • View Account Information - If this is a joint account, you will see the other account holders’ names listed, the current balance, available balance, last statement balance, date of last statement, date the account was opened, date of last deposit, and date the account was last overdrawn.
  • View Current Transactions - This will show you current balance, available balance, yesterday’s balance, as well as your current statement.
  • View Range of Transactions Between Dates - You can look for transactions by date, check number or amount.
  • Transfer Funds from this Account - You can transfer funds from account to account at LSB. These transfers can be set up to be a one time transaction or recurring, such as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
  • Enter Stop Payments - You can request a stop payment on a check that has not yet been presented for payment.

Management
Change your NetTeller ID or PIN, pseudo account name, or e-mail address. You can also set up alerts that will notify you of when a specific check has cleared your account, or other account activity.

Download
You have the ability to download your account information into a spreadsheet like Excel or into an accounting package like MS Money.

View Interest Rates
Gives you access to view all current deposit account interest rates.

Bill Pay User Guide

Signing on to BillPay:

  • Access NetTeller
  • Click on the words “Bill Payment”
  • Enter Bill Payment PIN – Received in mail for new Online Banking users or email for existing Online Banking users
  • Click “Pay Bills”

You will be required to enter your pin number each time you access Bill Pay.

Home Page Review:

Main
View Payment Schedule- Displays all payments (recurring and one-time) scheduled by you that have not been processed yet.

  • The memo section that appears comes from the memo line when you set up your payment.
  • You can edit the amount, memo or the payment frequency by clicking on the Edit function.

Payee List
Lists your payee database. Also gives option to Add Payee.

Add Payments
Used to make individual one time or recurring payments.

Quick Payment
Choose multiple payees to set up payments and submit, all with one click.

History
This report lists all history for a specific payee, amount, or period of time.

  • History is retained, for life of Online Banking

Setting up Payees:

At the Bill Pay menu:

1.

Select “new payee”.

2.

Enter payee’s name and state where the payment will be sent.

3.

Select “search for payee”.

If payee is listed:

  • Left click on the green checkmark corresponding to the correct payee and mailing address.
  • Enter the account number that you hold with the payee.
  • Enter description- this is for your personal reference only; this information will not be sent to the payee.
  • Select “add payee” to save.

If payee is not found:

  • Select “create unlisted payee” (right side of menu).
  • Enter payee’s name, complete address, phone number, your account number with them, and description (for personal reference only).
  • Select “save new payee”.
  • Once you have saved the payee, it will display if the payment will be submitted by check or electronic. If it is done by check, a request is submitted to the payee, to allow electronic submission. If the company authorizes this, it will automatically change to electronic status.

4.

Once complete, you will be brought back to your Personal Payee List screen.


Paying Your Bills:

1.

Select “Add Payment”.

2.

Select account to be paid from by clicking on the drop down arrow and highlighting account name you want to pay from.

3.

Select payee by clicking on the “Pay to” drop down arrow and highlighting company you want to pay.

4.

Enter dollar amount. (Note: Be sure to tab between dollar and cents fields).

5.

Enter reference information in memo section up to 40 characters (optional). This information is listed on all paper check requests.

6.

Select frequency of payment*.

7.

Select “Submit Payment”.

8.

Once payment has been submitted, a Personal Payment Schedule will appear displaying payment detail along with a confirmation number.

Quick Payment:

1.

Check payees you wish to pay, up to 10 at a time.

2.

Enter date payment is to be submitted.

3.

Enter memo information for your records.

4.

Enter the account to pay the bill from.

5.

Enter the amount to be paid.

6.

Select “Submit”.

7.

Once payment has been submitted, a Personal Payment Schedule will appear displaying all payment details along with each confirmation number.

* All recurring payments require a “Last Payment Date”. This refers to the date you want to end the automatic payment.

Online Business Banking

Signing on to Lakesunbank Business Online

  • Go to Lake Sunapee Bank’s site – www.lakesunbank.com
  • Click on “On-line Banking Log-in”
  • Enter NetTeller ID
  • Enter NetTeller PIN
  • Click “Login” (When you first log into Net Cash Manager, you will be prompted to change your PIN # to a new 6 to 8 character alphanumeric code.)
  • Enter Online Business Banking ID
  • Enter Online Business Banking Password
  • Click “Login” (When you first log into Net Cash Manager, you will be prompted to change your Password to a new 4 to 10 character alphanumeric code.)
